Role Summary: The Assembly Technician will perform duties in the assembly, testing, greasing, painting, repair, disassembly of wellhead and frac equipment.
Essential Responsibilities: Initially under the guidance or instruction of an experienced Shop Supervisor the incumbent will undertake any or all of the following: •Assemble, test, grease, paint, disassembly, repair and maintain tools, and customer equipment. •Organize, select, and arrange shipment of equipment. •Maintain all GE property, including tools, and equipment, etc. in a clean and ready state. •Prepare detailed Job Safety Analysis (JSA) requirements. •Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental regulations. •Perform other related duties as assigned by management or indicated by responsibilities.
Qualifications/Requirements: •3 years oilfield experience is desirable. •Ability to identify basic wellhead and frac equipment. •Must communicate effectively, both written and verbal. •The candidate must be willing to work independently (after proper training) and be a self-starter.
