Role Summary: In your role as AR Team Leader, you will be responsible for day-to-day leadership of an assigned team servicing GE receivables. You will work closely with, and support the AR Leader and Senior AR Team Leader to execute long and short-term action plans, that support the business' strategic direction for the assigned portfolio.
Day to day leadership responsibilities for managing the assigned regional AR Specialist team, including interview and hiring process, performance review, training, mentoring and coaching
Responsible for providing direction to all day-to-day operational activities, personnel, processes and structures related to the servicing of assigned portfolio
Ensure accurate and prompt response/resolution of Client enquiries, working closely with Client Service Team
Identify process inflow issues and support resolution with the Client functional contacts
Support Client in reducing the disputed receivables balance; support and collaborate Dispute Resolution activities
Lead Collection strategy execution for the assigned portfolio resulting optimal receivables performance; identify and escalate process gaps
Drive assigned team to meet set portfolio targets; monitor and share progress on regular basis and take corrective actions when required
Provide forecasting inputs, estimation to the WCS business plans
Facilitate optimal communication channel between team and Clients contacts (Commercial Finance, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, Sales)
Bachelor's Degree (or High School Diploma/GED or Associate Degree) with some collections, cash and/or customer service experience
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Some related People Management experience
Some collections experience, preferably commercial
Previous WCS collections experience
Previous experience leading initiatives or projects, demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical skillset
Experience in Innovation or process simplification projects/ certificates
Ability to work independently and deliver results
Demonstrated effective organization skills and attention to detail
