Role Summary:
Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.

Essential Responsibilities:
 Manages and reports all financial aspects of the project order including budgets, costs, margin, invoicing, and receivable collection; promotes change order growth; provides estimate-at-completion forecasts
 Develops and maintains project order schedule, critical control points to cover all order management activities
 Directs and administers project-related activities to ensure that projects order are completed on-time, within internal and external quality/specification requirements; follows GE Quality and QMS procedures
 Facilitates project order closeout reports and Project Review meetings
 Provides leadership and direction to other functions within the project order team
 Participates in the ITO proposal process on large or high-risk projects order
 Implements continuous improvement through Six Sigma quality; seeks out and champions Lean processes

Qualifications/Requirements:
Desired Characteristics:

 Bachelor’s degree in an engineering
 Greenbelt certified (GE employees only)
 Proven leadership skills in a matrix organization
 Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
 Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities
 Solid understanding of basic financial concepts and measurements
 Good oral, written and presentation communication skills
 Strong computer skills
 MBA
 5+ years experience in industry field or valve company experience
 2+ years experience in project management
 Sales and/or customer interface experience
 Oracle & SAP Enterprise Software experience
 Project order management software experience

Desired Characteristics:
Up to 30% travel required
