Role Summary: The Dedicated Clinical Education specialist (DCES) will deliver Life Care Solutions (LCS) clinical and operational expertise by partnering closely, on-site with the customer, to understand their specific education needs, then develop a large scale, unit by unit education plan. The DCES is recognized as the face of GE Clinical Education for all education and training support.
Position located in Indianapolis, IN area.
Essential Responsibilities: The DCES is a recognized expert in product, clinical, and software knowledge, and demonstrates advanced skills to influence the delivery of customer training and solutions. The DCES is also recognized for their strong project management skills, ability to lead change, adapt quickly in a dynamic work environment, and build meaningful working relationships.
Recognized expert in product, clinical, and software knowledge, with skills and competence in LCS Monitoring modality. Domain depth and credibility built from experience and results. Integrates and translates knowledge and experience to partner with the customer at the site, and develop training plan that meets or exceeds the customers’ expectations.
Provides pre-sale product clinical workflow evaluations and/or educational sessions to potential customers. Clearly define specific customer needs and solutions identified through evaluating existing clinical and workflow practices and provides configuration support to realize clinical advantage. In partnership with customers, develop and coordinate all LCS clinical training to the end-user personnel aligned with sales order agreement (SOA) to deliver excellent clinical education to achieve high Net Promotor Scores (NPS).
Ability to collaborate, coordinate and influence the delivery of customer training with a targeted integrated account management approach including sales, project management, the installation team, and other service organization teams in accordance with the SOA/terms and conditions Coordinate and/or deliver education and training through multiple methods, such as, on-site, off-site, web based, virtual, and classroom training. Act as a subject matter expert and provides advanced training strategies, such as, Master Training and Resident Expert. Lead site project teams through pre-training and Go Live planning sessions, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Lead post-training and post-Go Live lessons learned operating mechanisms, to identify areas of improvement and implement change. Supports new product/service lines by representing the voice of the customer; proposing quality improvements.
Drive realization of revenue thru execution of on-site or remote clinical education delivery.
Produce comprehensive, consistent and timely completion of documentation requirements pre-through post training.
Provide ongoing post-installation training and support. Support existing customers with additional training as needed or as product enhancements are launched that require additional training or implementation. Maintain customer relationships and communicate all relevant product and/or customer concerns or opportunities to the LCS Management team, Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Loyalty Leads, and Technical Support regarding technical and clinical issue or how to improve product quality, or overall product offerings. Proven problem solving approach. Handles all types of complex/ escalated issues and inquiries. Researches and analyzes areas of improvement. Provides advanced troubleshooting to support the broader team. Manage travel & lodging (T&L) budget to plan through optimization of travel strategies and cost savings. Submits expense reports within guidelines, and provides and maintains clear and complete records to comply with all elements relevant to the position. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and places personal and business integrity at forefront. Assesses customer feedback of individual CES's training sessions and Go Live support. Provides constructive feedback and coaching to CES’s as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Associates degree from accredited Nursing program, or a clinical certificate and 5 years of experience working in a clinical environment, or a high school diploma and 10 years of work experience in a clinical environment 2. Licensed Registered Nurse 3. 3 years’ clinical experience in the coronary or cardiovascular intensive care unit 4. Willingness to relocate to a new location in the U.S. following the end of the current assignment, and/or travel extensively 80+% (4-5 days per week including some weekends) within US and Canada (USCAN) via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, train etc.) as necessary. 5. Current performance reflects the applicant consistently meets or exceeds performance standards and focused on continuous professional development 6. Ability to learn specialized industry specific software and provide digital education and training solutions. 14. Proven excellent presentation and/or facilitation skills. 15. Candidate must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including but not limited to: verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background. 16. Willingness to take a drug test. 17. Will be required to register with one or more vendor credentialing services by various customer. hospitals. This requires, but not limited to, proof of immunization for mumps, measles and rubella(MMR) and hepatitis and drug testing /screening. 18. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. 19. Candidate must be willing to work out of an office or home/remote office. 20. Must maintain a valid drivers license and be able/willing to travel by air as needed. 21. Must comply with vendor credentialing requirements.
