Role Summary: Leading Finance function for India Loco project at Roza maintenance shed. GE won 1000 locomotive contract with Indian Railways, out of which 250 locos are to be maintained at Roza shed. This role includes execution for this MSA while taking full scope of Finance function covering but not limited to site level planning & forecasting, cost management, inventory management, stat compliance, site controllership, cash management, customer billing and leading margin expansion initiatives
Essential Responsibilities: - Partner with Roza shed GM to profitably execute maintenance service contract with Indian railways at Roza - Manage shed level KPIs covering operations, material management, investment etc. - Lead budgeting exercise for the site covering all aspects of maintenance activity - Analyzes cost variances and manage all internal reporting related to the site - Own site compliance on stat requirements and overall controllership covering PP&E, inventory, AP etc. - Manage cash needs of the site by partnering with HQ team for timely cash projections - Focus on laying and strengthening processes basis need assessment and solution mapping (eg:direct/indirect procurement) - Work closely with HQ team during CMR (Contract Margin Review) cycles for accurate forecasting of to-go costs - Collaborate with operations team to lead strategic projects for margin expansion. - Lead reviews with senior leadership
Qualifications/Requirements: - Chartered Accountant, MBA or equivalent with 10+ years of experience - Experience in leading function for a business covering various aspects of finance - In-depth knowledge of accounting rules and stat compliance - Strong analytical skills - Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally - Ability to lead a team effectively, managing team morale and work quality - Experience in service industry (good to have)
