Role Summary: The Current, powered by GE Digital Product Marketing Leader is a critical role to help shape the future of our digital solution. The successful candidate will partner with our digital product management and technology teams, sales, and the broader marketing function to drive business growth through adoption of our digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities Include :
Develop a deep understanding of our environment (edge & sensor network, AllSites Application, and Partner business productive applications), including marketing size, competitive positioning, price dynamics, distribution channel, and promotional opportunities
Responsible for driving and meeting key business KPI; digital attach rates, digital margins, and business productive portfolio expansion
Create and implement an innovative go-to-market strategy to increase penetration and assess new markets, including selecting target markets, recommending new products, establishing plans for product promotion
Develop and improve customer Value Propositions and other sales enablement tools for all digital products (e.g. demos, collateral, product specs, training material)
Drive development of research, customer insights & feedback, and competitive intelligence to differentiate Current in the market place and inform product roadmap
Analyze commercial terms of existing products and provide recommendations
Capture emerging trends and facilitate the development of corresponding strategies that translate insights into opportunities
Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) to develop customer-centric messaging, enable sales, and drive revenue for the business
Lead ISV partnership team focused on the identification of strategic application partners; from onboarding through commercialization
Grow partner app eco-system consistent with tech/product strategy and readiness of sensor and wireless network, solution, preparation of GTM sales and marketing support documentation, and ongoing management of partner sales channel and as part of Current bundled solution sale
PLEASE NOTE : Work location listed is San Ramon, CA. However, other US location may be considered for this position. Such as Boston, MA or Cleveland, OH

Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of relevant marketing experience
5 years of Lighting, Digital, Building / Energy Management (Intelligent Environments), and / or business productivity industry experience
Experience leading a team
Experience in solution marketing and selling - hardware and software solutions
Experience working in a start-up or entrepreneurial environment
Ability to influence others to promote cross-functional success; translating customer needs to actions
Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrix environment
Strong executive presence and demonstrated ability to communicate with, influence and build strong relationships at multiple levels both internal and external to GE
