Role Summary: Senior Manager - Architecture will be a key thought leader driving strategy, vision and execution to deliver on the mission of a world-class data analytics platform. You will be responsible for applying Agile methodologies to lead the development team in delivering best in class analytical solutions leveraging SAP Business Warehouse, BO, QlikView and Tableau.
Essential Responsibilities: You will be responsible for Data Architecture & modeling and manage delivery, scope, and project schedule. The ability to remain flexible and adept to learning new technology, and business processes will be instrumental to be successful in this role.
Collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including business subject-matter-experts, Business Analysts and Data Architects is required to architect data model and provide consistent, clean and accurate enterprise data.
As the Senior Manager - IT Architecture, you will:
Provide technical leadership to Design and Develop BW data models & data flow objects in SAP BW 7.x using InfoCubes, ODS/DSO, Multi-providers, Composite providers, Open ODS, Transient providers, transformations, extractors, data sources and required routines
Manage current implementation on SAP Business Warehouse, SAP BusinessObjects, QlikView and Tableau platform
Provide thought leadership that takes High Level Architecture and Design and translates it into a workable analytics solution
Analyze business and functional requirements to define target SAP BI/BW solution architecture and apply Data Modeling skills using LSA ++ architecture
Accountable for the quality and timeliness of Data Architecture, and solution delivery, adhering to standardized framework, architecture reviews, change and release management, and handover to operations team
Maintain a strong understanding of upcoming technology (e.g. Talend/HVR, Kafka, Sqoop), drive innovation in the space, execute proof of concepts and oversee the roadmap implementation and operational support of such technology
Provide leadership, inspiration and guidance to a growing team; foster a culture of transparency, collaboration and innovation
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in a quantitative field or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of experience working in SAP Business Warehouse environment
Please Note: This position can be based in Cary, NC or Atlanta, GA
At least 2 full life cycle implementations of SAP Business Warehouse with solid understanding of SAP Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance and Controlling functional areas
Deep knowledge in Data Modelling, Data Extraction, Data Loading, Performance Tuning, Data Security and report design using BEX and WEBi
Strong understanding of SAP BW/4HANA ecosystem, SAP Lumira
Ability to understand end-to-end solutions extending beyond SAP modules
Strong business and systems acumen with clear thinking abilities to drive desired outcomes
Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Pivotal Greenplum, HortonWorks Hadoop & other Cloud data warehouse solutions
Proven experience with data ingestion tools like Talend, Informatica, Spark stream & HVR
Familiarity with cloud platform technologies like AWS, Azure
Proven experience in leading global teams and working effectively in a matrix organization model and delivering using Agile methodologies
Strong communication skills, ability to develop partnership with cross functional teams and develop an inclusive and collaborative environment
Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and accommodate multiple time zones
Able to effectively direct and mentor team in technical and soft skills
