Role Summary: Manage the involved product categories under the supervision of the Product General Manager to maximise short and mid-term profitability, maintain or possibly increase market share for the Specialty and Entertainment category and drive fast growth for the involved LED products. Also he/she will be responsible to lead all necessary actions that ensures competitive and compliant product portfolio to the EMEA market.
Managing the above product ranges for the whole Europe and MEAT region and contribute to establish the right product strategy
Collect New Product needs, identify products critical for our portfolio, work with Technology team to manage NPI program and product introduction to the market
Working with Commercial and Marketing teams to maximize sales and margin opportunities, understand customer needs and market trends
Managing the Price / Margin equation to maximize SM
Ensure that product ranges meet relevant regulatory requirements both technical and packaging standpoint
Working with manufacturing, technology and sourcing teams to identify actions in order to improve product cost and profitability
Identify range simplification opportunities and reduce excess inventory
Lead the cross functional product team to meet all key business targets – Sales, SM, Price, Mix, Quality, Excess inventory, range rationalization
Working closely with the Sourcing and Supply Chain team to deliver inventory, fill rate and service levels
University Diploma, Degree in Electrical engineering or related discipline with good lighting or related technical knowledge and /or University Degree in Economics
Fluent English is a must, other European language is an advantage
Hungarian laguage is an advantage
Able to lead cross functional teams in the pursuit of common business goals
Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills
Experience and knowledge of sales/marketing practices
Able to make decisive and action orientated decisions
Excellent analytical skills (ability and willing to get into the detail)
Ability to work in cross-country and cross-functional teams effectively
Able to understand and communicate technical data to sales people and customers
Good interpersonal,communicational; negotiation skills
Energetic, outgoing personality
Creative thinking and good problem solving skills
Technical knowledge is preferred though not essential
Has the ability to get things done, in a tenacious/assertive manner yet is team-driven
