Role Summary:
Owns the overall delivery of all client engagements, upsells activity and staff development across single or multiple solution offerings within a practice. Acts as the Engagement Executive and is the main client interface point executive client relationships. Ensures that all projects within their scope are delivered on time and is responsible for delivering upsell opportunities. Responsible for the professional development of the full consulting team in their scope to include managing managers.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the Engagement Executive for simultaneous engagements to ensure high levels of quality, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction, becoming personally involved in engagements where necessary to mitigate risk.
2. Assume responsibility for key metrics (e.g., revenue, operating margin, on time project completion, upsell orders).
3. Develop new commercial opportunities with existing clients and supporting practice leadership in securing new clients.
4. Drive practice development in either an assigned geography or for a specific suite of solutions.
5. Participate in new solution development, giving feedback, input, and ideas to solution development teams.
6. Manage a team of employees with responsibility to ensure goals and objectives, performance management, and career development processes are completed and feedback is given to junior staff.
7. Develop and train junior staff.
8. Prepare and deliver succinct, clear, and insightful and influential executive-level presentations.
9. Establish executive level relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers in key accounts.
10. Serve as a GE liaison to the client for executive level communication.
11. Require, model, promote, and complete timely performance feedback to team members.
12. Obtain recognition internally and externally as an expert in one to two solution areas or practices.
13. Manage and direct Knowledge Management activities on the engagement team.

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required. 1. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum seven years of experience in either advisory services, consulting, or performance improvement in a healthcare setting.
2. Minimum five years of experience leading and managing projects with outcome focused deliverables.
3. Minimum three years of experience directly or indirectly leading a team of reports.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Power Point).
5. Ability to travel at least 70%.
6. Language proficiency in region specific.

Desired Characteristics:
1. MBA or master’s degree and a minimum ten years of experience in either advisory services or consulting and a minimum four years of healthcare clinical or administrative experience.
2. Strong expertise and an understanding of the healthcare industry and major trends in the geography in which client projects are delivered.
3. Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management teams.
4. Ability to negotiate complex and strategic contracts.
5. Ability to think creatively and create out of the box solutions for external and internal problems.
6. Demonstrated data mining and analytical skills.
7. Demonstrated project management expertise or certification.
8. Ability to create impactful executive client facing communications and presentations.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage financial, delivery, or client risk in a consulting or advisory environment.
10. Demonstrated expertise in driving change using Change Management tools.
11. Demonstrated experience in LEAN or Six Sigma tools.
12. Demonstrated experience in leading teams.
13. Demonstrated experience in delivering feedback and coaching successfully.
14. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
15. Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience speaking and writing clearly and convincingly.
16. Demonstrated business acumen and analytical skills.
17. Ability to work independently and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
18. Ability to adjust work and communication style based on situational needs.
19. Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking to include the evaluation of ideas and the synthesizing of information into insights.
20. Proven ability to accomplish large volumes of high quality work under pressure.
21. Proven ability to make decisions with limited information and achieve expected results.
