Role Summary: The Mining account manager will work closely with headquarter to provide solid commercial supports for OEMs in China.
Essential Responsibilities: The person will maintain commercial relationships with OEMs, Push OEMs making forecasts and issue purchase orders to GE. He/She will response for collecting down payment, getting LC opened by OEMs according to the contract. He/She will also drive the OEMs to make appropriate spare parts supporting plan and getting parts order, tracking payment and shipment. The job will manage spare parts inventory in China and periodically review OEMs spare parts inventory. Being as a working bridge between headquarter and OEMs, He/She will make sure GE’s plan and action can better fit with OEM’s needs. The Mining account manager will be primarily responsible for: 1) Maintain close relationship with OEMs in China; 2) Get OEMs production plan and purchase orders; 3) Manage spare parts plan and get parts order; 4) Push to get down payment, LC in time, track shipment schedule; 5) Communicate with headquarter on OEMs needs and requirements; 6) Provide commercial supports during OTR process, parts inventory management.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor degree * A minimum of 5 years commercial/customer relationship experience. * Understand international trade and process * Written and spoken fluency in English * Ability to travel.
Desired Characteristics: * Mining industry background preferred. * Strong interpersonal skills; * Six Sigma certification or similar quality experience. * Team working and self motivation
