Role Summary: The Custom Project Lead is a function within the Lab Filtration Product Management team within Life Sciences. This role will be responsible for the management of both simple and complex custom development requests throughout the project life cycle in a manner that maximizes the overall return/profit to the company. This role presents a unique opportunity to join our dedicated, motivated and innovative team in Cardiff, UK
Leadership of Custom Development Requests (CDR). Responsible for leading and coordinating a cross functional project team and key stakeholders to set project goals and major deliverables based on customers’ requirements. The project lead will maintain focus and provide clear direction to the teams relating to project priorities and position in the portfolio. The Custom Project Lead will also be responsible for the development of project scopes and objectives, business cases and driving visibility within the business of CDR opportunities.
Coordination of Product Modification Requests (PMR). Responsible for processing all incoming enquires to the relevant manufacturing area for feasibility and costing. Following approval, further processing of the request to customer and through the product life cycle process. vEnsuring compliance with Design History File (DHF) and other QMS requirements

Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Develop an open quality culture within the organization that fosters issue discussion and decision-making based on the business objectives.
Project management or strong project administration experience. Strong record of delivery
Experience of product development or product modification projects.
Willing to manage projects using an unfamiliar, untested process, driving towards the simplest method.
Identified and implement further project process improvements when required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the business.
Intercultural competencies; diplomatic behaviour; experience of customer interaction.
Ability to find added value solutions for customers.
Rallies self and others to complete activities.
High computer skills; Excel and Powerpoint essential. MS project desirable but not essential.
Familiarity with the requirements of ISO9001:2008 is desirable.
Degree level education, or equivalent level of work experience is desirable but not essential
