Role Summary:
This position leads associates on second or third shift and coordinates activities to meet or exceed production, safety, housekeeping, quality and cost goals while satisfying the customer.

The initial assignment is for second shift; however, shift assignments may change in the future based upon needs of the business.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Maintain high levels of communication with all associates

  • Manage direction / expectations for individual hourly associates and cell performance

  • Coordinate day-to-day interface with cell management, technical resources and maintenance

  • Build cell strengths and maintaining positive relations with associates while following company policies and procedures

  • The initial assignment is for second shift
  • Ability to be flexible as shift assignments may change in the future based upon needs of the business

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates degree from an accredited school or institution (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role)

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :


  • Ability and willingness to work at a tobacco free site
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule as shift assignments may change in the future based upon needs of the business (initial assignment is 2nd shift)
