Role Summary: The Quality Technician (Manufacturing) / Electrical Tester will perform tests on and troubleshoot assembled panels which include both electrical and mechanical devices.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Quality Technician (Manufacturing) / Electrical Tester, you will:
Test electronic modules and set program parameters
Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters (digital voltmeters), curve tracers, power supplies, automatic test equipment and tools such as torque wrenches, torque screwdrivers, screwdrivers, wrenches and other tools as required
Assist other quality control technicians and assembly personnel where quality control questions arise
Train other employees as necessary
Inspect, examine and observe for product or equipment defects
Associate's Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering Technology (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 3 years experience focusing on quality)
Ability and willingness to to lift / carry up to 40 pounds
Ability and willingness to climb ladders, and stand / walk for long periods of time
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical wiring
Able to successfully demonstrate applied -electronics knowledge through a technical interview
Able to read and interpret electrical schematics
Able to work alone or as member of a team
Able to Inspect, examine and observe for product or equipment defects
Able to use measuring devices such as tapes, gauges, rules, scales
Understands and can carry out complicated oral and written instructions
Able to memorize and retain instructions
Able to read and interpret technical manuals
