Role Summary: You will be a point of contact for the GE business relating to Compensation and Benefit queries. It is an excellent way to gain exceptional awareness of GE operations and grow your technical and soft skills.
Experience in multinational working environment
Review and control & monitor reconciliation process at monthly / quaterly closing cycles
Experience in transactional bookings, understanding of payroll related processes
Has a deep understanding of Trial Balance movements and interrelations
Identify and resolve issues across different teams
Lead reviews of closing checklist to ensure all close related issues have been resolved
Ability to review the work of junior members and solve complex cases, unreconciled items
Highly organised with demonstrated ability to meet commitments within strict deadlines
Able to re-prioritize / re-organize to work through roadblocks
Go to person for Auditors, Controllers, reviews
Actively participate in migrations / coordination – monitoring the transitions
Identify opportunities to improve closing activities Brainstorms for ideas to drive simplification.
Being able to adapt to constantly changing environment
Written and verbal fluency in English
Good working knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS or any other local GAAP
Expertise in MS Excel
Excellent communication – proven ability to develop strong professional relationship with auditors,and other departments
Strong analytical ability to find any potential risks and initiate improvements
Flexible approach with a strong team spirit
Effective interpersonal skills and highly professional style when dealing with business clients
