Role Summary: This is an exciting role where you will have to lead a team of transportation planner specialists and continuously collaborate in projects reducing costs and developing logistics processes. Responsibility for coordinating ITC (InterCompany Network
Road transportation between EU factories and warehouses), Road (EU market customers – road transport), Export (NON-EU customers – sea and air transport) and Premium (EU&NON-EU organizing premium transportation according to WF), and the RAW collection (materials and resale sourcing related transportation according to WF) areas.
Facilitating the reduction of the costs and the effective work of the transportation planner specialists working in the related areas.
Working on plans and projects related to different kinds of transportation systems. This includes parcels, FTL (full truck load), pick up and collection from suppliers, FCL (full container load) and LCL ( less than container load).
Looking at ways to improve transportation systems or how new systems can be implemented in certain areas.
Keeping accurate records, reports both weekly and monthly on performed activities.
Communication with internal customers and informing status of shipments, providing tracking numbers and order related information.
Establishment and maintaining ISO approved procedures for all operations.
Working together with different organizations, giving input to their work and feedback to their requests.
Participation in x-functional projects, representing the transportation function.
Responsibility for customer complaint escalation.
Responsibilities as a People Leader:
Continuous review of the team performance and giving recommendations to management about the required modifications or organization changes.
Identifying training needs of the team, providing individual coaching as appropriate.
Providing recommendation to management to provide recognition for high performing employees.
Initiating team meetings.
Bachelors or college degree.
Experience in manufacturing and/or logistics area.
User level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (word, Excel, Power Point), SAP knowledge is advantage.
Fluent, confident use of English (both written and spoken).

Ability to identify problems and plan effective improvement actions.
