Role Summary:
 
At Baker Hughes a GE company, the Materials Planning & Execution Specialist is responsible for supporting initiatives and projects for improving the inventory planning as well as coordinating all ongoing activities and handle special tasks on demand for our Drilling Services product line services and technologies.
 
Essential Responsibilities:
 
  • Work on continuous improvement activities and projects for the drilling services materials management area, including:
  • Track progress of projects and initiatives
  • Force owner to keep deadlines
  • Coordinate and monitor database for all activities
  • Ensure all activities are listed and tracked properly
  • Lead frequent meetings with all stakeholders on progress of the continuous improvement activities
  • Lead and participate improvement projects/activities
  • Own this area and work on further fine-tuning and improvements to make it more efficient
  • Oversee the improvements done and financial benefit gathered
  • Development and implementation of control chart for specified areas
  • Work on inventory planning activities on demand incl. analysis, development of strategies
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and additional required tasks as assigned
 
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor Degree and/or about 5 years’ experience within Supply Chain or AMO
  • Strong communication and personal skills
  • Technical knowledge and engineering understanding towards Drilling Services
  • Presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • English language skills
  • Highly motivated dedicated personality
 
 
Desired Characteristics:
 
  • Technical knowledge understanding towards Drilling Services products
  • Advanced SAP skills
  • Project Management Skills/Green Belt Certification
  • APICS certification
