Role Summary:
As the Product Director for Analytics Portfolio, you will be responsible for leading Product Strategy for our operational and clinical analytics augmenting our solutions offering of core modalities leveraging our advanced analytics platform. You will take to market new analytics offerings and grow existing analytics product by activating sales and services channels. You will be a key influencer in a fast-paced, incredibly exciting market, with the opportunity to drive rapid, exponential growth.

Essential Responsibilities:
Our analytics platform and set of products leverage healthcare data produced by GE and non-GE system to drive operational, financial and clinical outcomes for our customers. The Director Product Management – Analytics Portfolio is responsible for the competitiveness of the Analytics solution’s features, functionality, and quality. You will work with internal business champions across GEHC, as well as strategic customers to ensure deep understanding of customer and market needs; be a decision maker for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactical choices. You will partner closely with engineering on product requirements and design, evangelize the product with customers, commercial teams, and other connected GE teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Strategy and roadmap:
  • Create and commercially launch a set of analytics products and applications leveraging this platform, by collaborating with thought-leading customers and partners.
  • Define and influence advanced and execute strategy and roadmap across Monitoring Solutions, Diagnostic Cardiology, X-Ray, MR, CT, Mammo, Ultrasound, and other GE healthcare modalities to enable growth and scale on our analytics pulling our core modality offerings.
  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer.
  • Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnerships, activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.
  • Close collaboration with marketing to translate practice needs, market analysis, competitive analysis, and regulatory environment factors into actionable strategies and tactics for the product.
  • Work directly with development teams and/or give direction to Product Owners to implement the product requirements. May direct the activities of Analysts and use their input effectively.
  • Translates internal and external customers’ requests into a set of Themes, Epic and Features. Applies the agile methodology to partner with engineering, and architects to get the development backlog thought. 
Leadership and Evangelization:
  • Develop and present business cases for product functionality, demonstrating sound judgment based on technical information and business needs.
  • Drive end-user research together with our User Experience (UX) team to drive a clear target user experience and capabilities for analytics authoring, orchestration and consumption.
  • Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product. 
Business Development:
  • As part of the Analytics Product Management leadership, you will be accountable for achieving goals related to Revenue, CM Rate and Market Share for the Horizontal Analytics Services Business

    Go to Market.
  • Contribute to the go-to-market plan. Work cross-functionally to coordinate marketing, sales and channel communication plans and to assure that product launches effectively include the appropriate training, sales support, marketing communications, and clear product positioning.


Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • A minimum of 12 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines
  • GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

Desired Characteristics:
  • Degree and practice in a clinical discipline
  • Advanced business and financial acumen
  • Deep Product Management/Marketing expertise, including: market trends/analysis, NPI process, product roadmap development, requirements, product life-cycle management
  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen
  • Experience in Analytics and Cloud technologies like Business Intelligence / machine learning / Streaming Analytics / Deep Learning / Natural Language Processing
  • Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
  • Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
