Role Summary: This position is responsible for US classification application within 3rd party product database (TradeVia), US Custom and Border Protection (CBP), and supporting International Trade Compliance across the functional & global teams in GE Healthcare. As well as manage and execute shipment, processes, documentation and compliance requirements for Diagnostic Imaging export orders.
Essential Responsibilities: • Managing Sandler Travis Trade Advisory Services (STTAS) with daily activities • Managing and being the lead owner for TradeVia activities/applications, including facilitating training on the TradeVia database across GE Healthcare. • Liaisoning with US CBP. Research and respond to requested GEHC product information • Creating and distributing necessary OGA documents, to brokers/Customs, for imported goods • Driving resolution of held CBP shipments • Driving and interfacing, with Engineering, to obtain necessary information for accuracy of HTS applications • Managing and monitoring RDO focal points • Coordinating and communicating shipment delivery requirements with distribution and freight forwarders • Participating in global order fulfillment conference calls and distribution planning calls as required • Primary contact for global affiliates in reference to the logistics process • Releasing all International orders from distribution & manufacturing to freight forwarders • Completing all required export documentation • Responsible for timely, accurate and complete record keeping • Ensuring all processes and documentation are in accordance with GEHC & Export compliance requirements • Completing special project • Perform warehouse distribution duties in compliance with current GDP as per annual GDP Training and local procedures’ (Core Imaging Only)
Qualifications/Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (defined as a High School diploma/GED and 5 years working experience with logistics or import/export work experience) 2. 2 yeas of experience working in either logistics, US Customs regulations, export requirements, US OGA’s and or HTS codes. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Power Point, and Word

2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

Desired Characteristics: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management 2. Minimum of 3 years of operational logistics, import/export and/or customs expertise 3. US brokerage licensed. 4. Solid communication and analytical skills, including experience with communicating with others from different counties and cultures. 5. Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within the organization 6. Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments 7. Experience working in a compliant supply chain
