Role Summary:
Located at the GE Lighting headquarters in Bentonville, AR this position will provide hands-on replenishment analysis and perform related tasks that support the overall strategy of ensuring adequate store-level replenishment.

Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Use Customer data to analyze store and DC Inventories
  • Identify and manage seasonal and non-seasonal trends
  • Manage gaps between Customer POS and retail forecast
  • Manage product flow throughout the Supply Chain
  • Manage Store changes as communicated by Customer for Modular Updates (Changes to Planograms)
  • Develop exit strategy for store declines or complete item pruning, minimizing write-offs or markdowns
  • Development of Replenishment strategies and Demand plans for new items and increased distribution (new store authorizations)
  • Provide visibility to Product Supply and Fulfillment by maintaining forecast information accurately in Consensus
  • Track Customer Days of Supply, CFR, POS, and In-Stocks, and report to Customer and Internal partners as necessary
  • Track Consensus and Customer Forecast Accuracy / Bias and communicate to stakeholders
  • Track Item / Category seasonal profiles and collaborate with Sales
  • Build and maintain customer and internal stakeholder relationships that will ultimately drive supply chain efficiency and business influence
  • Monthly / Quarterly collaboration with Customer Replenishment and supply chain stakeholders
  • Lead and facilitate weekly Demand Review Meetings with Sales and Finance, along with the development of accurate sales forecasts and inventory plans
  • Perform thorough analysis in order to provide potential volume opportunities via on going collaboration with Marketing, Planning, and Sales Planning team members during monthly Assumption Review Meetings
  • Utilize Top-Down / Down-Up Forecasting, POS vs. Ship Analysis and consumer take-away in order to identify forecast bias and trends so as to improve accuracy at or above objective
  • Eliminate “trapped” inventory within Customer’s Supply Chain
  • Manage Replenishment flags in Customer systems
  • Make necessary forecast adjustments to prevent code date rotation issues
  • Communicate over stock situations timely to prevent short-dated product

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS / BA from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of supply chain, distribution and order management {Including GRS System Experience (Global Replenishment Solution)}

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of supply chain, distribution and order management
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills including proficiency in MS Excel and business objects
  • Effective interpersonal skills including customer relationship management
  • Demonstrated change agent and high personal initiative
