Role Summary:
This position, within the Logistics and Customer Service area, is responsible for directing a team in handling inventory management, customer relations, production scheduling, and receiving, packaging, and shipping of materials and finished goods in support of medical and industrial business. The position implements actions to improve product & process quality, as well as accelerating and support cultural change efforts aimed at achieving organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Monitoring and improving productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
• Developing and creating training plans to maximize workforce capability
• Serve as liaison between manufacturing, quality, and materials teams, including scheduling and expediting product fulfillment.
• Site liaison with customers and associated suppliers in support of business targets
• Leading Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
• Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation
• Provide leadership and support of Logistics team to successfully meet and exceed department and site goals.
• Manage and engage employees both within and outside the department to foster positive employee relations and site culture.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Maintaining full Quality System Regulation and Current Good Manufacturing Practices requirements
5. Maintaining full regulatory compliance and other legal requirements
6. Knowledge and understanding of production process Work Instructions and operates within them to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications
7. Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records and DHRs

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years production, supply chain experience or leadership or High School diploma/GED and 7 years production or supply chain experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team as a people manager
3. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement Best Practices and deal with high levels of ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:
1. MBA or Masters
2. Recent prior Team Leading and People Management experience
3. Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices.
4. Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity.
5. OMLP/ETLP graduate
6. Experience operating in a manufacturing and/or Logistics environment
7. Personal skills, specifically in regards to customer interaction
8. Database and communication experience, most notably Excel and Outlook
