Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical leadership and defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment. Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7. Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision. Translate requirements / vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. Assess application performance. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen. Analyze impact of technology choices. Contribute to design discussions. Drive pair programming practices and code reviews across the team in product positioning and key differentiators. Share design choices with appropriate audiences, with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness. Understanding functional and nonfunctional requirements and their priority within the backlog.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math] and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related Software Engineering position or related occupation required. The position also requires 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Technology Stack including ASP.NET, C#, SOAP/RESTful web services, SQL Server Database, IIS Web Server; 3 years’ experience with JavaScript/Typescript; 3 years’ experience working in an Agile software development environment; 3 years’ experience with development tools and integrated build systems such as Visual Studio IDE or Visual Studio Code; and 3 years’ experience with SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
