Role Summary: The Technical Documentation Specialist will be responsible for creation and updates of technical documentation/manuals for aircraft engine. He/she will be a part of a new engine project which includes usage of new technologies and high level of digitalization.
Provide technical publications and updates for all new and existing assigned product models using state of the art publication techniques
Troubleshoot and resolve publication discrepancies
Write, edit, and manage technical documentation in support of business products
Develop illustrations and simulations that show features and functions of the product in documentation
Create user-friendly technical documents that accompany product deliveries
Collaborate with hardware and software developers and engineers in the creation and implementation of this documentation
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent knowledge/experience).
Prior experience with software application technical writing
Knowledge of S1000D specification and Simplified Technical English
Proficiency in English language
Strong skills and knowledge using Microsoft Office applications, MS Word mastery is required
