Role Summary: The Compliance Apprentice will gain experience and knowledge in the Compliance Department. He/She will understand and support the entire selection and due diligence process for Bidding Partners and Sub-Contractors, according to the GE Healthcare Compliance Policies.
Require, collect and acquire screening documents from Companies to be qualified as Bidding Partners and Sub-Contractors for GEHC.
Support candidate-partners in understanding GEHC's compliance requirements, filling required templates and fulfill the required documentation.
Check Registered information, credit record, financial status and negative information around candidate partners coming from government agencies, media GEHC suppliers and by candidate partners themselves.
Support the Compliance Manager in conducting due diligence through compliance interviews and watch-list screenings to identify and recomend resolutions for red flags.
Escalate any potential compliance issue to the Compliance Manager and the Senior Legal Counsel and work with them to resolve the issues.
Monitor the execution of follow-up and corrective actions and update them with the Compliance Manager and the Senior Legal Counsel.
Provide training to candidate-partners and their staff on GE Healthcare compliance policies. national and international legislation.
Bachelor in Business Administration, Management or Law.
Rigor, precision and persistence in keeping trace of his/her activities, archive documents, follow-up on requests coming from different stakeholders.
Interacts, communicates and works effectively different stakeholders inside GEHC and with Candidate-Partners.
Ability to locate and analyze facts to determine relevance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality, excellent interpersonal skills and personal accountability.
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
Very good proficiency in Italian and English language.
Previous experience in Healthcare Compliance
EU work permit
Knowledge of the 231/01 Italian Law Decree and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) U.S. Law.
