Role Summary: As VP Digital Product Management you'll own P&L and strategy for platform product portfolio in this high-profile, high-potential business segment. You'll build and mentor a team of high performance Product Managers to define and execute strategy, establish and achieve ambitious outcomes. You’ll partner with the Services & Solutions and Commercial Sales teams to identify and capitalize on customer opportunities, develop and evolve platform strategy and deliver platform outcomes for the business
Essential Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
Help develop and manage strong platform product management portfolio
Be responsible for business segment targets on orders, revenue, cost & margin.
Influence platform roadmap, working with internal product leaders and external customers to maximize commercial opportunity
Benchmark industry best practices, and contemporize product management approach for optimal platform success.
Make sound investment decisions based on market opportunities, market trend, risks, competitive landscape and strategic partnerships. Be responsible for roadmap, product lifecycle and product management processes.
Be a regular speaker in events and active in industry associations to influence and shape the direction for the business and technology in the segment.
Build and mentor high performance team of Product Managers.
Work cross functionally across sales, internal/external customers, analysts, marketing, engineering and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy.
Global travel required as necessary.
Will have strong financial acumen and accountability.
Will engage customers at executive level as a trusted partner
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM major
A minimum of 10 years of software industry experience in product management/strategy and/or software development/engineering
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed

Must be willing to travel
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Cincinnati (location flexible)
Strong people management experience in a technical field
Aviation experience and airline/airport exposure
Demonstrated ability to proactively drive portfolio and investment decision to balance customer needs, install base requirements (refresh) and long term enterprise differentiation
Track record of evangelizing concepts beyond current offerings and driving business model innovation (product, service and delivery innovations)
Proven ability to make strategic partnering decisions for the product line including the creation of new inbound/outbound channels
Expertise in monitoring and shaping industry dynamics, trends, and policies and to shape a culture that proactively uses market intelligence to drive significant growth
Track record of success in setting & driving strategy for the organization in relation to upstream and downstream effects. Implementing and driving program/product strategy within the organization
Proven ability to set and change direction at the enterprise level by building and using direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas and leverages chains of indirect influence
Knows how to effectively manage risk and uncertainty for self and team. Makes decisions with confidence when problems or solutions are not 100% defined
