Role Summary: As the Sr Lifecycle Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the Digital Technology efforts for the Jacksonville Aviation facility. In this role, you will sit on the plant manager's staff and address the strategic and tactical Digital issues of this shop.
This role requires strong project, interpersonal, leadership, compliance and change skills. The individual will report operationally to plant manager and functionally to the Electronics Digital Technology Value Stream Leader
Contribute to a variety of functions in the program management domain including delivery of multiple products, product areas, or platforms, management of issues, roadblocks, dependencies, overlaps, over-scopes, and communication management
Accelerate the brilliant factory roadmap by optimizing factory operations through introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies, improve machine monitoring and increasing productivity.
Leverage modern data integration and visualization tools to develop supply chain data and process analytics
Works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business
Communicates across direct organization and across the Digital Technology function in area of expertise
Presents to senior leaders in specific technical space and on cross-functional teams on how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy
Drive operations and strategy for all areas of IT including shop floor technology and applications
Evaluate opportunities within the shop and across the value stream to further the GE digital industrial journey
Evaluate new user technologies (office automation and collaboration tools, mobile devices, wearable, etc.…) to improve overall employee experience and increase productivity
Partner with the other Unison Digital Technology employees across the U1 (Jacksonville, Norwich, and Saltillo) facilities to address Unison Digital requirements

Integrate and operate with other site DT leaders on initiatives that impact the Supply Chain sites
Coordinate with all remote CIO / CTO groups & technology services organizations on infrastructure upgrades, application rollouts, and operational support
Manage the site DT budget and planning
Focal point for site Data Security / Privacy procedures and processes
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology)
At least 5 additional years of experience with current information technologies and their implementation into the business function

Proven leadership skill in both business planning and information technology
Knowledge of Oracle EBS or other ERP applications with additional hands-on experience
Discrete manufacturing experience
Able to use Six Sigma tools and techniques to drive change

Capable and influential at project management
Quality and cost driven
Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Brilliant/Smart Factory, and Machine Monitoring
