Role Summary: The Senior Technical Product Manager will partner with the Global Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QARA) function to deliver next generation digital technology solutions. Accountable for all aspects of the end-to-end lifecycle of a product. Serves as direct liaison to functional process owners to translate and prioritize business requirements for QA, RA, Supplier Quality and Post Market Surveillance into system specifications for project implementation and support operational excellence.
Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to the specifications
Support QARA team in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they are then integrated with other business and technical processes
Single point of contact for business for Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supplier Quality & Post Market
Leverage deep process/domain expertise and partners with Product Owner and technical development team
Combine the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories
Applies Agile Methodology to translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback

Focus on execution for the duration of a product release. Owns and manages the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Partner with Service Owners/ Development Managers to ensure healthy development process
Create the strategic roadmap for the product
Research development in assigned technology, determine business requirements, propose changes, develop migration and implementation plans, and execute projects based on these activities
Accountable for traceability of business requirements to test scripts and vice versa. Manage the authoring and execution of test scripts required for system validation – operational and performance qualification
Maintain functional peer relationships and detailed working knowledge of the assigned area’s systems, organization, and business processes
Maintain technical peer relationships and facilitate the generation of technical options to solve business problems
Lead and provide guidance to a team of consultants
Routinely collaborates with UX Design to know customers and understand behaviors. Conducts customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborates on personas
Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in business, computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) preferred
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Software Development, Engineering, Information Technology or Business Administration OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in Engineering, Software development, Information Technology or Business Administration

Experience working in Agile engineering environment. Prior experience with software product development with software engineering or IT teams using Agile methodology
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Familiarity with versatile implementation options, including Java, Node.js, Go, Python
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders.
