Role Summary: The Inspector & Tester C will complete all operations associated with AC and DC equipment repairs including Mechanical Disassembly, Stem Clean, Test and Inspect, Repair, Mechanical Reassembly and Test Run AC and DC Equipment.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Inspector & Tester C, you will:
Complete all operations associated with AC and DC equipment repairs including Mechanical Disassembly, Stem Clean, Test and Inspect, Repair, Mechanical Reassembly and Test Run AC and DC Equipment
Demonstrate competency in performing miscellaneous operations such as inspect, test, repair
Investigate and report on various types of electrical equipment such as AC and DC motors, generators, transformers, rotary converters and control devices
Trade School or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts (day or evening), overtime including holidays and weekends
Ability and willingness to travel and complete overnight stays up to 10% of the time
Ability and willingness to obtain TWIC card
Knowledge of AC & DC electrical equipment
Experience driving a Fork Truck
Able to read and interpret electrical drawings
Self-starter able to work with minimal direction
Willingly accepts job challenges
Experience with Health and Safety programs (LOTO, PPE, MSDS, Safety etc.)
Good mechanical skills
Good communication with customer personnel
