Role Summary: The Engineering Procedures Coordinator will support the Engineering Quality team in updating the Engineering procedure system to align it with GE Aviation and assuring compliance to Customers and Certification Authorities requirements. Please be advised this role will be hired as a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.
Essential Responsibilities: In this role you will:
Providing support to the Engineering Quality team to update the Avio Aero Engineering procedures System according to the Certification Authorities and Customers requirements;
Preparing presentation materials and collecting necessary data to support Engineering team to sustain Certification Authorities and Customers Audits on Engineering processes;
Maintaining and monitoring the updating plan of Avio Aero Engineering procedures;
Providing support to the Engineering Quality team in the integration project of Avio Aero Engineering with GE Aviation through the alignment of Procedures, Specifications and Standards, and integration of the design processes;
Mapping engineering processes as needed with the BPR Quality System tool;
Preparing necessary presentation materials for flowdown sessions on processes and procedures updates to Engineering team;
Providing support to the electronic signature development project for the technical documentation and drawings;
Providing support to the Independent System Monitoring of EASA DOA Certification of Engineering to verify compliance with procedures and to ensure that engineering processes comply with standards.
Master Degree in Engineering from an accredited university (Mechanical/Aeronautical/Management Engineering are preferred);
Basic knowledge of design processes;
Experience, also basic, in Policy & Procedures management, or Airworthiness, or Quality System (Aviation sector preferred);
English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral;
EU Work Permit.
Knowledge of aeronautical Certification rules (i.e. EASA Part 21) and Airwothiness principles, certification EN9100 aeronautical preferred;
Knowledge of PLM Tools to manage documentation (preferred Windchill)
Knowledge of BPR Tool (preferred Signavio)
Knowledge of principle of Technology Export rules (IT)
