Role Summary: The QA / QC Technician II will be responsible for performing QA / QC inspection and creating quality documentation for Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) / hardness / NCRs / etc.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of QA / QC Technician II, you will:
Work to quality assurance procedures & engineering specifications, as specified
Perform Dismantle and inspection of ESP equipment.
Work with minimal supervision.
Train/Mentor QA/QC Tech I
Comply with all applicable quality, health, safety and environmental regulations
Perform all other related duties as assigned by management
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 2 years of experience with ESP
Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing role
Perform inspection of components to specifications using calipers, height gages, thread gages and other mechanical inspection hand tools
Capable of performing ESP teardowns with minimum supervision.
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
Understanding of Work Orders and ability to read and correctly interpret prints / drawings & specifications
WIS, CWI or CAWI certified
Minimum 5 years of experience in quality control applications
Phased Array UT Inspection operating & analyzing experience
Past training or education in the areas detailed on the Manufacturing Training Matrix (MTM)
