Inspection Technologies is a division of BHGE with applications such as nondestructive testing (NDT), measurement, monitoring of system status, control systems and devices, and radiation measurement. Role Summary:
The Global Sales, Services & Marketing Leader for Inspection Technologies f/m demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this executive role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within area of expertise, be involved in long-term strategic planning, and contribute to the overall strategy execution.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive intelligence, customer intelligence and data analytics to support commercial, product management and technology.
  • Lead development of overall business vision and strategy based on market trends and competitive analysis.
  • Develop industry specific value propositions based on customer needs/challenges and market opportunities, and understand entitlement per industry segment.
  • Drive customer segmentation.
  • Partner with Product General Managers and Region General Managers to new products and services.
  • Drive engineering team to support needs-based product and service value proposition, based on data.
  • Support and provide the contents relevant to the region for the 3-year Growth Playbook & annual operating plan with a sound business strategy.
  • Support regions in large/significant, cross-border or cross-PL opportunities (negotiation, offer structuring, etc.)
  • Work with regions to drive and coordinate systematic mapping of sales/opportunities globally against regions, industry verticals/segment penetration, specific account penetration. On that basis, work with regions to drive coordinated campaigns for accelerated growth.
  • Ensure consistency, quality of sales organization’s planning.
  • Work with sales leaders to understand process quality, identify areas for improvements, bottlenecks and execute improvements.
  • Monitor and support effective & efficient use and deployment of sales systems and tools (e.g. Deal Machine, how to use, ensuring high quality data).
  • Use DM to drive execution of sales targets (e.g. run and track ‘Key win’ deal lists, identify deals which are stuck and resolve, etc.)
  • Lead roll-out and monitoring of specific targets, e.g. incremental $x million of convertibles by region, drive actions with regions to achieve targets, monitor progress
    Work with Communication, Marketing, Finance to achieve the above.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing or similar
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing
    Significant experience in Marketing and/or Product Management and/or Sales
  • Profound experience in B2B technology sectors, including products, services, and SW/Digital
    Proven ability to gather and drive meaningful customer insights across an organization
  • Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects successfully
  • High analytical skills

Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Power Gen industry is desirable.
  • Understanding of the NDT market dynamics
  • Preference for candidate with Digital/Software experience around industrial products (automation, inspection, measurement/control, or similar)
  • Ability to work in cross- functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma certification is preferred (GE employees only)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
