Role Summary: You will operate in lock-step with product management to create a clear strategic direction for build needs, and convey that vision to the service’s scrum team. You will direct the team with a clear and descriptive set of requirements captured as stories and partner with the team to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt.
Your priority is seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, Service Owners and Developers. As a Staff Technical Product Manager within SAP CoE, you will have a track record of effective delivery of enterprise solutions that maximize the use of SAP technologies whilst driving user adoption, ROI and pace of delivery leveraging SAFe Agile methodology. You will have SAP applications hands on functional configuration and technical expertise covering order management, warehousing and distribution, sourcing and procurement and materials management (MM, WM, SD, Logistics and FI integration). You will demonstrate clear communication and build strong partnership with business and IT stakeholders within Power Services business segment in addition to GE Digital, Shared Services, Power Technology and Finance teams to effectively drive release execution. The ability to remain flexible and adept to learning new technology, systems and business processes will be instrumental to be successful on this role in addition to embracing FastWorks/Agile approach to project delivery.
In this role, you will:
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and significant products
Own the short-term roadmap for MVPs and quarterly SAP releases for the Power Services business segment
Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs
Demonstrate expert level skill in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity
Engage frequently (80%) with the development and testing teams; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions
Own and manage the delivery backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready
Collaborate with UX in design decisions, demonstrating deep understanding of technology stack and impact on final product
Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas
Partner with the Service Owner to ensure healthy development process
Be regarded as an expert in Agile Methodology; translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units through problem decomposition and planning
Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering team
Demonstrates excelling business acumen, knows latest industry trends and is looked at as an internal expert on the product as well as the associated competitive landscape
Mentor junior team members
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in large-scale SAP ERP systems implementation and delivery OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in large-scale SAP ERP systems implementation and delivery OR PhD with 3 years of experience in large-scale SAP ERP systems implementation and delivery OR at least 2 years of experience in an accelerated program in a technical field

Extensive experience running large scale SAP implementations in mid to large size enterprises
Strong hands on experience in SAP delivery methodologies including ASAP
Ability to understand business and technology architecture across and beyond core SAP ERP
Strong business and systems acumen with clear thinking ability to drive desired outcomes
Strong hands on SAP experience with background in cross functional process design, delivery and change management
Deep understanding and hands on with SAP ITC/OTR business flows, Sales & Operations Planning, Warehousing & Distrubution leveraging MM, SD, WM/IM, Logistics, MRP, APO, GATP
Experience with a large transformational effort is desired. Proven experience in working effectively with global teams and in a matrix organization model.
Strong communication skills, ability to develop partnership with cross functional teams and develop an inclusive & collaborative environment.
