Role Summary:
The EHS Leader will drive and support initiatives at the Loves Park facility in tandem with the site's leadership team to enhance the well-being of plant associates. This individual will work on projects of varying scope that will encompass environmental, regulatory, fire, safety/ergonomics and emergency response matters for a facility with ~250 employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations
  • Work together with business leadership
  • Specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done
  • Deliver products as part of a team
  • Work on cross functional teams
  • Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
  • Requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge
  • Requires developed and strong foundation of EHS skills (environmental, regulatory, fire, safety/ergonomics and emergency response) and knowledge of relevant technologies

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Fixed Facilities
