Role Summary:
The Product Manager works closely with our software development, engineers, pilots, business, marketing teams to guide products from conception to launch. As part of the Product Management team, you bridge the technical and business worlds as you design the unmanned aircraft traffic management system. You'll work with Engineering, Marketing, and Operations, to name just a few. You have a bias toward action and can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Essential Responsibilities:
We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting and tailoring the product into what users want.

In the role of Product Manager you will:
  • Work closely with Engineering to turn breakthrough technologies into products that solve real user needs, save lives, and transform aviation
  • Develop and own product strategy and roadmap
  • Partner with Legal, Policy, Privacy, Marketing, PR, Business Development / Partnerships, and Operations teams
  • Determine requirements and prioritization leveraging both user research and product insight
  • Help to refine AiROS’s product vision and strategy.


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, technical field or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management OR Completion of a GE Leadership Program)
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job

    Desired Characteristics:
    • Master's degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA or equivalent practical experience such as software engineering or mechanical engineering experience. Experience in autonomous vehicles, robotics, machine learning, etc.
    • Ability to influence without authority, collaborating with technical and cross-functional teams who do not report into this role to get things done. Proficient interpersonal skills, personable yet persistent.
    • Strategy and analytical skills. Ability to gather and analyze large quantities of information, and turn them into a thoughtful and compelling product vision, including economics/business plan. Good at problem stating and problem solving, and turning ambiguous problem spaces into radical solutions.
    • Flourish in ambiguity, setting own goals and effectively delivering to them in a very fast-changing environment. Motivated by making the world a better place through technology, and wanting to be part of a team that makes this happen.
