Role Summary:
The Services Sales Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. The principal reason for the existence of this job is to plan, co-ordinate, organize and promote the sales of Downstream Products services (upgrades, revamps, spare parts, LTSA, supervision) in an assigned territory (Russia and CIS) and to assigned major accounts, in line with GE Oil&Gas strategic objectives.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for achieving assigned sales objectives within budgeted costs
• Establishes and maintains contact with major customers and their representative
• Participate in establishing business strategy by providing the company’s perspective
• Identification of projects that offer the potential for maximizing income and growth
• Contacts and develops close working relations with end users, contractors and design institutes
• Assesses need for channel partners in the territory. Manages channel partners. This will include training, monitoring and motivation of channel partners to support the growth on new business opportunities in the territory
• Discuss the technical requirements of the equipment/solution to be purchased with End Users and Design Institutes
• Prepares various periodic and special reports such as sales forecasts, prospective business, lost business and the like
• Partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches
• Oversees projects through from inception to implementation and handles customer contacts in connection with the job
• Coordinate relationships and interface with Commercial Operations, Technical Marketing, Product management and other functions

Market Focus :
• Users of Turbomachinery/Rotating equipment comprising:
• Centrifugal compressors
• Axial compressors
• Steam turbines
• Heavy duty pumps
• Heavy duty reciprocating compressors
• Expanders
• Gas Turbines

To be found in the following hydrocarbon processing industries:
• Ammonia and Fertilizers
• Petrochemical/Chemical
• Oil refining

Secondary Industries:
• Power Generation
• Iron and steel
• Paper and pulp
• Sugar

Qualifications/Requirements:
• BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant commercial experience in Downstream Oil&Gas industry preferably with rotating equipment (new products and/or services)

• Fluent in both Russian and English

• An innovative and self-motivated individual with the ability to work unsupervised
• Record of success in previous employment

Successful candidates will be employed under local employment conditions and must already satisfy local employment/work permit and residency regulations.
