Role Summary:
 
To develop and implement a vision and transformational strategy for the creation and growth of multi-segment integrated opportunities within BHGE.  Establish project processes, pricing strategies and tendering methods to drive BHIO projects to higher levels of accretive profitability for BHGE.  Lead a team of Project evaluation team/s, including Well Engineers, Contract Engineers and Pursuit Managers globally in order evaluate, commercialize, negotiate and secure integrated contracts.  Key position in developing and winning integrated by applying global knowledge, skills, stakeholder engagement, commercial acumen to develop winning strategies by leveraging the BHGE Product companies, Global Operations and the Corporate.
 
 
Essential Responsibilities:
 
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Lead the Project Evaluation team and Pursuit Managers, in order to ensure that winning strategies are developed and executed to increase win rate of Projects.
  • Ensure that the Stage gate process is implemented from pursuit(opportunity) to execution(Operations)
  • Maintain and constantly improve Integrated Operations competitive positions.
  • Liaise closely with Region Sales teams on opportunities.
  • Participate in development of strategies for Integrated Operations activities within a region working closely with the Baker Hughes Integrated Operations corporate office and the Region and Geo-market teams.
  • Ensure alignment with Regions, Geomarkets, BHGE Product companies, to deliver winning strategies and bids.  
  • Responsible for managing and adjusting, when appropriate, the BHIO project and opportunity portfolio.
  • Evaluate and prioritize opportunities based on risk profile, revenues and profits.
  • Work with Region/Global Supply Chain/Procurement to contract best prices for third parties and tangibles.
  • Evaluate and source competitive third party contracts such as rigs, slick line, well testing, etc.
  • Provide leadership for negotiations with customers and third parties.
  • Provide leadership for Contract maintenance and opportunity mining to drive higher profits and assure contracts are being followed as agreed to.
  • Conduct business in accordance with the Baker Hughes Business Code of Conduct and Core Values.
  • Coach and provide career development advice as appropriate.
HS&E Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Baker Hughes Health Safety & Environment (HSE) policy.
 
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA degree desirable
  • 15+ years Energy industry experience.
  • International working experience.
  • Broad knowledge of the oil and gas business - across multiple product lines and multiple geographies (strongly preferable)
  • Able to interact at a senior level within client companies.
  • Expert-levels of relationship-based selling and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in English (with both oral and written skills).
  • Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Effective communicator with all levels of company and customer personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience displaying a thorough understanding of the needs of the operator (oil company) / asset manager.
  • Thorough understanding of third party resources needed to complete an Integrated Operation offering and how to access regional resources.
  • Thorough understanding of market conditions, with particular focus on area of responsibility.
  • Knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, risk management, contracting, HSE and staffing.
  • Familiarity with product lines and service systems offered by the Enterprise.
  • Operator (not only Oilfield Services) field operations management and strategic sourcing is preferred.
