Role Summary: The Advanced Interventional Clinical Specialist, Invasive provides clinical and technical support during the sales process by demonstrating the full range of the Invasive recording product portfolio. Responsible for providing live clinical EP demos, software demos, assists with show sites, KOL/ show site account reviews and is engaged with new and existing accounts to establish credibility and drive clinical workflow strategy.
Essential Responsibilities: • Dissemination of information on EP and Cath Clinical trends, new procedures and new products or options
• Ensures that all new products are clinically relevant and all clinical needs are translated into technical and performance specifications
• Inputs into Product Planning and Clinical trends
• Takes active part in the organization of user meetings / Medical Advisory board in collaboration with the Marketing Managers and the Advances Product Specialists • Supports Customer visits at reference sites as needed • Provide technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of Invasive product features including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers • Develop and deliver Invasive product training to GE Sales teams on equipment use, • Works primarily in West Zone, however also national responsibilities to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training • Use Invasive recording market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies • Act as a mentor to field team, providing clinical, technical and professional guidance as necessary to improve the customer experience • Communicate with Sales and Application Leaders to align applications activities with sales needs and business objectives • Energize team and maintain adherence of field processes
Qualifications/Requirements: • Required active clinical certification/registries required to scan live patients in a clinical setting • Demonstrated basic clinical scanning proficiencies • At least one of the following core experiences: Minimum of 5 years clinical experience following certification with demonstrated skill in specific required areas or at least 3 years commercial applications experience with demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios • Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products • Willingness to travel 90% within your specified geographic region with routine overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows • Demonstrated successful experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
Desired Characteristics: • Bachelor's degree preferred • Strong leadership skills (respected by peers and leadership for contributions to the business) • Strong presentation skills (public speaking and lecture experience desired) • Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills (ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to external customers, global counterparts and to team members in other functional organizations) • Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both internal team members and external customers) • Proven professional business acumen (experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process) • Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve • Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time • Willingness to be flexible/adapt to changing work environments • Clinical experience in large hospital/university setting preferred • Advanced certification/registries desired • Demonstrated advanced clinical scanning skills • Experience on all current GE products for which responsibilities cover • Experience within GE Clinical Applications or Clinical Marketing roles
