Role Summary: As our new Sr Staff Technical Product Manager (“PM”), you will report to the Finance Data Lake Outcomes Leader and be responsible to create strong working relationships & influence across product management, engineering, and other functional groups to execute the strategy within CoE, across GE businesses, partners and customers. You may mentor one or more junior product managers.
Identify opportunities, factor/influence client demand, define/manage requirements, establish/refine product management processes and be a domain/business expert for the portfolio to guide teams
Responsible for requirements backlog and roadmap for one or more products
Define/manage requirements, follow product management processes and be a product expert
Work cross functionally across engineering, stakeholders, users, analysts and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy
Establish and manage relationship across GE businesses & sub-businesses, shared functions and global operations at management and technical expert’s levels
Deliver business & technical collaterals (such as value proposition, value proposition, migration & sunset analysis, data sheet, product overview, FAQ, recorded demos, webinars)
Make recommendations on tools and processes required to aggressively drive our products forward relative to both new and existing products and services through enhancements, research, cost, voice of the customer, analysis, and reporting
About 20% of the time to travel within US and globally
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum of 7 years of technical experience – project management, data visualization & analysis and finance systems
A minimum of 7 years of product management experience
A minimum of 7 years of software experience with proven track record
5+ years of experience designing and delivering finance systems solutions with specific focus on analytics
2 years of experience with ingestion, operations and outcomes within a data lake
