Responsibilities and Accountabilities General:
Strict observance and implementation of the Business EHS/Quality Policy and all Company rules.
Ensuring that established rules and safe or environmentally sound working practices are adhered to.
Ensuring that all Unit Employees are properly trained and receive the support they need to perform their duties.
The health and safety of all employees for whom they have an operational responsibility.
Ensure all Processes and Tools as defined by the Central Function are fully implemented and adhered to.
Ensure leadership and motivation by establishing an open and broad communication of the principles, objectives, targets and processes including the feedback communication.
Maintain identification of training needs, planning, execution and follow-up of the appropriate training.
Ensuring Personal is properly Managed, Appraised and developed in accordance with the relevant appraisal and People review processes of the company.
Managerial (Budget / Administration / People):
Managing the C&C Region Cost Centre results to ensure budgets are achieved.
Managing utilization to ensure all employees within the region are adequately assigned.
Overview the Site Execution within the area of responsibility to ensure it is being professionally executed.
Execute the sites assigned to the region within budget, time, scope and quality.
Identify and deliver cost improvements.
Providing experience feedback and improvement cycles and defining of targets.
Defining improvements and targets and ensuring that these are further cascaded within the Organization.
Identifying and delegating the resources needed (employees, skills and contractors).
Ensuring that the Home Office and Site personnel are available with the correct skill level and adequately trained.
Ensure Staff are delegated according to the Home and Host legal requirements.
Ensure all staff are delegated according to the Delegation Model.
Ensure all Employees adhere to the Site Appraisal process.
Specific Functional/Technical authority (besides DoA):
Organization and leadership of C&C team within the office
Supporting the Central Function in the development & proper execution of the Site execution strategy (Execution planning and scope of work, Site organization & staff, Site logistics & Set up, Budget consolidation, Project Guidelines, delegation Model)
Coordination with the Central Function and the other Regions to ensure identification and timely assignment of Project personnel to sites.
Budget-forecast for site activities, monitoring of site expenses, updating and reporting on this budget.
Support & Feedback to tendering for execution issues within the country of the Unit (schedule, site organization, site costs)
Support & Feedback to Subcontracting for all projects within the Country of the Unit (technical discussion with subcontractors, strategy)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience in the Power Plant Business.
Strong ability to communicate verbal and in written English with preferably a second language.
Needs to be excellent in the management of employees and Managers, tools and other resources.
Has to show excellent capabilities in the explanation of complex technical and working processes.
Strong intercultural skills and abilities for managing of worldwide processes, procedures and leading with local management.
Strong civil expertise.
Good overall construction and commissioning knowledge.
Ability to challenge processes and workflows in order to improve efficiency and become lean.
Ability to create skilled multi-discipline teams that are empowered and inspired to deliver required results.
Increase business success through effective processes and execution practices and strive for continuous improvement.
Demonstrated ability to successfully implement change throughout an organization.
