Role Summary: The Manufacturing Specialist - Material Plan & Execution will be responsible for the production schedules of product manufactured in Dominican’s Republic Contracted Manufacturer. Ensure Business Service (fulfillment) goals are met thru proactive monitoring of KPI’s. Work in conjunction with Lead Buyer, Contract Manufacturer and Operations Teams to ensure proper direct material scheduling.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Manufacturing Specialist - Material Plan & Execution, you will:
Supervise, including virtually, the execution of on-site employees
Have daily interaction with key customers to discuss immediate needs
Act as backup when required to oversee all operations in Dominican Republic
Influence and interact daily with Material’s Team of Contracted Manufacturer (Fenix Manufacturing Solutions) in the DR to ensure all Business goals are met
Report daily service performance on FR, RM, RK, OD and Export Orders
Prepare reports and progress indicators as required
Ensure proper inventory levels at Consumer Channel, Super Stock Program, ACC Department and Sister Plants
Develop production schedule to meet customer demands, drive material requirements, and proactively set levels of manufacturing output
Communicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations between manufacturing production and sales
Work with Inventory Planners offsite to ensure deliveries meet customers’ expectations
Prepare production schedules based on PSI, FSOW, FG inventory status reports and work orders to determine catalogs and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority
Lead PSI meetings along with Business PSI and Service Leaders
Review the SAP report and coordinate with Customer Service to ensure customers’ expectations are met with respect to package and bulk orders
Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs
Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs
Optimize inventory and process improvements
Executes routine analyses using vested methods and technologies and/or contributes to technological developments in teams under supervision
Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information
Works within a team setting and / or under guidance.
Alternatively: executing routine but complex analysis.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or accredited University in Business Administration or Supply Chain
Minimum of 5 years in material purchasing, inventory management and production scheduling Proficiency in MEs, One Stop & SAP Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks with acceptable results
Prior experience utilizing planning systems Prior experience in production control or planning, supervision, sourcing and/or material control environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities
Ability to work effectively in all environments
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work independently
