Role Summary: The Specialist – Customer Specialist is responsible for performing services necessary to setup or repair Variable Speed Drives (VSD) & motor control panels at customer's establishment utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical machinery. Specializes in electrical work and installation of all ESP equipment including VSD, switchboards, SPS, SCADA systems, etc. Presents and delivers training to others.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Specialist, you will:
Perform VSD, softstart, and switchboard setup for downhole and SPS applications
Perform VSD, softstart, and switchboard troubleshooting & repairs
Inspect and assemble all types of ESP equipment
Provide work direction to cable technicians
Diagnose problems with equipment and recommends appropriate solutions
Comply with all EHS requirements
High school diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution
Minimum 5 years of Electronic and/or Electrical experience
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Be subjected to extreme heat and/or cold for extended periods of time

Willing & able to obtain a commercial driver license
Self-motivated and team player
Knowledge of ESPs and Surface Pumping Systems

Understanding of analog and digital circuitry and setup
