Role Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Regional Performance demonstrates accountability for functional business, and broad company objectives, servicing the entire region including the US, Brazil and Canada. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across multiple facilities specific to Continuous Improvement and Productivity initiatives.



Essential Responsibilities:
You will manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise including LEAN, cost out and Quality, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

As the Sr. Manager, Regional Performance (Americas), you will:

  • Drive regional Productivity and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy across the region, prioritize projects, drive total cost out and provide input on P&L performance
  • Coordinate direct manufacturing activities throughout four global locations, lead direct reports and work with Plant Directors to ensure workflow, quality and process improvements; drive operations team towards execution of site goals using Lean Manufacturing methodology
  • Be responsible for critical project execution, this role will lead regional initiatives including NPI, productivity improvements, standardized work and digital enhancements as appropriate
  • Serve as a Senior member of Regional Leadership staff, work upstream and downstream to ensure the link between global (HQ) and local sourcing and quality teams, provide input on business development projects
  • Participate in monthly performance review meetings (BOR), provide key elements to yearly regional KPIs and budget
  • On an ongoing basis, ensure compliance and understanding of incoming technical specifications, procedures, and other requirements of the customer; ensure involvement of HQ CI and quality teams when necessary


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality or manufacturing role, demonstrated experience as a manager, with increasing responsibility

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and abroad 25% of the time


Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience leading large scale CI and quality projects, experience working in a global business with managers and reports located in different plants and/or countries
  • Experience with wind turbines or turbine blades
  • Knowledge of fiberglass and state of the art manufacturing principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills including communicating effectively at various levels of the organization and giving and receiving feedback
  • Computer skills required including Microsoft Office and experience working with an integrated ERP system
  • Strong analytical mindset including and be able to draft risk assessments and speak to project ROI
