Role Summary: Lead Software Integrator is a key software leadership role that help X-ray programs to drive predictable delivery of software features meeting quality and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for making the software development process simple, faster, streamlined, and automated when possible, using the latest technologies for next generation X-ray products.
Own, and provide strategic direction to the software development processes, software integration and related infrastructure
Own software builds, software releases and related documentation
Drive cross functional initiatives in process improvements, tools and standardization.
Identify and drive software design and implementation best practices in line with GE Healthcare standards and industry best-practices.
Ensure software development follows GEHC Quality Manual, Software Development Lifecycle Procedure, Phased Review Discipline and all applicable regulatory needs
Work cross functionally with global teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
A minimum 10 years of professional experience in software development
Experience in DevOps and Agile software development processes
Experience in Linux and scripting languages
Expert knowledge in configuration management tools ClearCase and Git
Strong analytical skills, and experience in software development lifecycle
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Experience working in complex software development projects
Strong oral, written communication skills and interpersonal skills
Expert knowledge in developing and executing automated builds and scripts
Adapt to new environments, changing requirements and pivot quickly as needed
Identify opportunities for innovation, offers new ideas and proactively seeking to implement those ideas.
