Role Summary: Reporting to the Change program Manager to ensure consistent execution of a predefined Mission Based team (MBT) in line with the overall Change program goals within defined time constraints. Implementation of these will result in effective and sustainable change to the HVDC CoE delivery organisation.
• Day to day management a MBT team and lead the development of change management strategies and plans in collaboration with MBT Sponsor. • Ability to work independently and prioritize competing demands with minimal direction. • Drive adoption of the change, including identification and management of key stakeholders and development of metrics to measure change sustainability.
• Act as the change lead for MBT sponsors in helping them take ownership of the changes. • Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and team-leaders as they help their direct reports through transitions. • Support MBT team in integrating change management activities into their project plans, including Continuous Improvement efforts. • Develop and execute change, communication plans and deliverables for the identified transformational mission based project. • Work with leaders and program team to develop a well-communicated and easy-to-digest project overview that may be shared with multiple stakeholders. • Complete detailed stakeholder analysis, outlining specific impacts of the change and the required implementation strategies to shift to future state. • Incorporate and steward key change management plans/tactics into overall project plan, including communications, training, and engagement actions. • Assess implementation and adoption progress; address risks and issues. • Review and provide constructive feedback on change deliverables created by the mission based project team and provide Change program Manager with timely progress reports and mitigation recommendations for issues and risks to ensure that project transformation activities are managed effectively and with minimal disruption to the business. • Serve as primary liaison between mission based team leader and Change program manager to ensure change plans are coordinated and executed effectively.
• Minimum university degree or equivalent with Software Engineering or similar or equivalent knowledge & experience. • Familiarity or understanding of project delivery and engineering (preferably software) processes. • Experience in leading transformation efforts in a Software delivery or Engineering project delivery environment. • Experience in moving an Engineering organisation to a Systems Engineering approach. • Proven ability to develop and manage a work plan, produce deliverables and meet target dates in a complex environment. • Strong knowledge, expertise and experience in change management and methodologies and organizational communication • Demonstrated success in working collaboratively in a matrix environment.
