Role Summary: The Site Quality Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Provide leadership for the Ozd Site Quality organization.
Full accountability for OP Cost of Quality, Line Yields, escaping defects and Issue Resolution response time to the customer
Direct generic process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization.
Provide Leadership on problem root cause analysis, identifying actions and timely resolution.
Select, hire, train, and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, quality and measurements, and organizational goals.
Compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost.
Interface with design engineering, projects, assembly, and vendors to assure requirements are met on time meeting specifications
Owner of Change Management. for TOW, NPI, ET, CRs and CNs & deviation notice compliance
Drive manufacturing quality control activities to meet defined plant Quality targets. Drive on-going proactive process control
Support SII I&E budget planning for plant and product lines, RTP budget.
Ensure appropriate training/operator certification is planned and performed
Own CTQ flow downs and related CTQ and PPCTQ measurements
Issue and maintain quality procedures in the plant and assure compliance with the QMS guidelines. Plan and execute internal quality audits on products and processes.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with high experience in quality control systems and quality improvement methods for a manufacturing environment).
Meaningful experience in a quality control, improvement, or engineering role that provides leadership to cross-functional teams in the quality / process improvement environment.
Knowledge of machining / fabricating and/or assembly and test processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Proven analytical abilities.
Ability to work within a highly matrix business environment.
