As Unison Program Manager role you will have ownership and accountability for the fulfillment of customer commitments throughout the development lifecycle of a contractual agreement from program initiation, through planning, execution, and production.
You will typically manage multiple customer programs concurrently, and participate in the delivery of internal business growth and development initiatives, working across functions within the organization.
In particular, you will:
Be responsible for coordinating across the organization the development, maintenance and adherence of the Integrated Master Schedule for assigned programs
Be responsible for the Risk management (technical and Business) of assigned programs, including:
identification of risks
incorporation of mitigation tasks into the IMS
tracking of mitigation tasks
and reporting of risk exposure throughout the development life cycle
Be responsible for the business case compliance, profitability and customer satisfaction for assigned customer(s) and contracts
Provide coordination with the customer and Interact with stakeholders across the enterprise
Interact with Customer Account Managers on contract flow down, negotiation of scope, T’s & C’s, and commercial terms
Function as liaison between internal Unison organizations and customers for assigned contracts
Assist in sales campaigns for new contracts and proposals
Assure timely resolution of customer issues and customer satisfaction for assigned contracts
Develop and implement business plans to achieve contract profitability and work scoping
Participate in business and contractual discussions with customer
Leads the establishment of productivity goals by contract
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer, engineering, and / or program management
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment
Proven capability to manage programs of diverse size and complexity
Proven capability to manage scope, schedule, costs and risks with internal and external customers
Prior experience representing GE in business and contractual discussions with customer is preferred
Knowledge of development processes to support customer requirements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong influencing skills including building trust / credibility, motivating / engaging the team, and developing / promoting the team within a matrixed organization
Ability to lead cross-functional and customer / supplier teams
Strong conflict resolution skills
Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including upper management
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
