Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Seasoned and deep understanding of concepts, approaches and methodology used. Deep expertise on the level of a technological field.
Manage an overall production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
Team management of salaried employees.
Works on very complex technological issues or manufacturing processes.
Solving issues and developing new solutions requires new and innovative approaches.
Has the authority to guide others in different approaches.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
Prior experience in plant management is preferred.
At least 7 to 10 years of experience as Materials/Production/Engineering or Quality Manager in Metal Mechanic business.
Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, and fulfillment metrics, quality systems, cost systems, and fulfillment metrics, and procedures.
Ability to work within a highly matrixes business environment.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to lead teams through example.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Fluent in English.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
