Role Summary: Current Powered by GE sells commercial and industrial lighting through a network of sales agents and distributors. This role is focused on driving market share with current local distribution, as well as through Agent partners.
In addition you will :
Focus on connectivity and engagement with Agents in assigned territory, building strong relationships
Cultivate a learning culture with Agents that continues to educate our Agent network on our Current value proposition
Create and deliver effective presentations that highlight competitive advantages of our products and product solutions
Develop strategic, long-term relationship with key decision makers at end-user accounts
Deliver lighting solution proposals to C-suite and other members within the organizations
Utilize SFDC as a tool critical to track progress of all leads and to ensure accuracy of data in effort to drive sales focus of distribution network
Conduct joint sales calls with Agents as needed
Identify key contractor customers and build relationship to grow preference for our products and solutions

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing / Business / Administration / Engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum 3 years sales experience

Ability to identify and qualify prospects in new market areas
