Role Summary: - Assist Support Team in carrying out tool performance evaluation as well as testing of new program and new cutting tool. - Conduct machine tool preventive maintenance, as well as implement good 5S housekeeping. - Comply with all relevant legislative requirements and GE OIL and GAS EHS policies, practices, work instructions and standards. - Comply with all relevant GE OIL and GAS Quality EHS policies, practices, work instructions and standards.
Essential Responsibilities: - Basic knowledge of cutting tool application, fixture devices, part setting etc. - Basic knowledge of machine software application FANUC/Siemens /Toshnuc System. - Basic analytical skills in dealing with machining variances and engineering drawing - Work within close tolerances to perform adjustments and measurements using measuring equipment's. - Knowledge on CMM (FARO ARM) to inspect parts to ensure conformity to requirements. - Perform critical dimensions recording and machining mapping. - Assist Support Team in carrying out tool performance evaluation as well as testing of new program and new cutting tool. - Produce quality, efficient and productive part in machining. - Continuously improve machining processes as well as ensuring all safety measures are monitored throughout the work.
Qualifications/Requirements: - Secondary Education / Institute of Technical Education in Metal Machining(Grade3) - Minimum 2 years working experience in Oil and Gas Industry operating manual and CNC turning or milling machine. - Able to work rotating shift.
Desired Characteristics: Work requires adaptation and interpretation of established practices and procedures where application is not clearly defined. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of Company resources to correct.
