Role Summary: The T&A Technician will conduct a variety of Mechanical and Electro-mechanical tests on submersible pump systems to ensure unit functions according to engineering specifications or to determine condition and serviceability of the unit.
Essential Responsibilities: In the role of T&A Technician I you will:
Transport equipment into shop for pump, seal, and motor testing
Steam clean equipment to remove foreign materials
Disassemble portions of the equipment in order to inspect for corrosion or erosion
Perform computerized assessment of performance curve of the equipment to determine efficiency and make any required improvement opportunities
Perform minor repairs, as required
Complete shipping and receipt paperwork when equipment arrives or leaves the yard
Keep testing equipment in well working condition
Keep all working areas safe and free of debris and oil
Comply with all EHS requirements
High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum of 6 months of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly (OR in lieu of education, Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly)
Work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
Work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activities
Be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as required
Lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Be subjected to extreme heat for extended periods of time
