Role Summary: We are looking for a Software Engineering Manager with strong architecture experience as part of the Krakow based Salesforce.com Digital Hub. This person builds and runs highly motivated and engaged teams who deliver large scale IT programs for GE Digital.
Lead and grow Agile teams in the area of Salesforce.com, Apttus & ServiceMax
Set the strategy and direction of the business and drive continuous improvement of systems, products and processes
Functional leadership of the team, including recruitment, team/talent development, skill set improvement, and mentoring
Resource assignment and prioritization
Leading change through creative solutions, improving unstructured product and system design issues
Optimizing team’s participation in all phases of product development
Serve as a Senior Architect responsible for building and leading a Force.com based design and development team.
Ensure compliance with architecture, security and technology standards set by GE Digital & GE Security IT
Partner closely with the User Experience and other CoEs to understand and apply best practices
Champion the adoption of new standards and technologies & drive their implementation
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics or related field or equivalent knowledge or experience
Proven experience in Agile methodologies
Significant experience in Salesforce.com/ServiceMax/Apttus or other CRM technologies
Proven track record of project management and people leadership
Proven mentoring and coaching abilities; demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others
Ability to learn and interpret complex systems and business processes (i.e. global supply chain and/or services) and define requirements for solutions
Influencing skills at all levels of the organization and ability to gain buy-in for initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Relevant industrial experience
Demonstrated experience utilizing CI (Continuous Integration) techniques
Working knowledge and experience with the Salesforce.com Sales & Service cloud, Apttus & ServiceMax
